Mark Sutton, MBA, has been a registered Democrat for 35 years and has been passionate about supporting male well-being for 30. He has produced radio content for NPR, Air America Radio, and The Mother Jones Radio Show, and hosted the podcast Liberal Arts with Mark Sutton. As a gender expert, he has appeared on MSNBC, CBS Radio, and served as guest host for the TV show Men’s Net.
Mark is also passionate about economic justice, having worked in the field of Community Development Finance Institutions (CDFI) supporting low-income communities and individuals where he focused on social outcome data and policy. He has consulted for many male-supportive nonprofit organizations. How Democrats Can Win Back Men is his debut book, and he writes the Substack blog Men and the 2024 Election.
Born and raised in Edina, Minnesota, Mark holds a BA in Mathematics and Music, cum laude, from Williams College in Massachusetts, and earned his MBA in Sustainable Business from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco, CA. He also earned a Data Analytics Certificate from the extension program at University of California, Berkeley. He lives in San Francisco, CA with his family.
